Other Ways to Get Involved...
- Invite a representative of CIVIC-US to your school or community to discuss youth engagement, youth on boards, and/or youth in governance. We can provide consulting and coaching services in these areas.
- Host a Youth Engagement Training in your school, school district, community, agency or organization.
- Host a Youth in Governance and/or Youth on Board Training for your School District, School, Coalition, Agency or Organization.
- Have CIVIC-US staff work with your school, school district, coalition, agency or organization to make your service learning programs and projects more meaningful, measurable, and memorable.
- As a young person, get involved in the life of your community. Attend School Board, County Commission, and City Council meetings. Watch your State Legislature at work. Visit the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives while they work. Write to your local, state and national elected officials voicing your opinions and concerns. Be an active part of your Community Coalition. Volunteer for projects that meet the needs of your community and it's residents.
