NSBA’s Youth-in-Governance program is founded on the assumption that school boards are compelled to engage youth in meaningful and measurable decision making in their schools. That we have an obligation, as leaders of civil society, to assist youth in learning and living the principles of effective governance.

In short, Civic-us is a program for enthusiastic, motivated, and dedicated students who want to get involved with the school board and local community to make a positive difference.
